Walt Disney: The Triumph of the American Imagination by Neal Gabler
5.0
Meticulously researched, and eminently fair to both the favorable and less favorable sides of Disney's personality. The flaws are talked about extensively, but never to the point of overwhelming the positives, and I felt that allegations of Disney's racism and anti-Semitism were addressed very clearly and excellently by Gabler here (I would say neither is conclusively proven or debunked, but they are analyzed fervently). Probably one of the best single-volume biographies I've read.
