The enjoyment I felt reading this book honestly surprised me. Based on the synopsis I was a little hesitant because it sounded incredibly cheesy and predictable....but I was pleasantly surprised.

Here’s the thing. If you want a junk food fantasy forbidden romance... this is it. If you don’t.... then this probably isn’t for you... but it’s what I was craving at the moment so it worked well for me. ☺️

What I loved most about this novel was the pacing... she never drags things out. Her writing was quick and to the point and she has a knack for knowing how to move the story along in an organic way. It was a little hard for me to get into the story at the beginning... but I was hooked about 1/4 of the way in and didn’t want to put it down.

I definitely plan to read the next 2 books despite the horrific new covers
