A new all-time favourite for me. Perfectly gloomy atmosphere, felt like I was getting cozy by a fireplace while witchy weather blustered on outside. Felt nostalgic and warm the whole time. Reminded me of Coraline, but never felt overly simple like a children's story. LOVED the characters and the setting and the shadow world. Just a lovely read.
