The Principles of Anarchism by Lucy Parsons

5.0

A piece written and spoken well over a hundred years ago that carries more weight and truth than uttered by a politician before or since. Everything Parsons elucidates about government and by extension capitalism continues to be proven painfully correct every day.

A brilliant brief overview of anarchism and a great place to begin further reading and discussion.

It breaks my heart that voices like hers, while they still exist, are so often silenced and divided by compromises on liberty, bigotry, and a refusal to see that intersectionality is the lens through which freedom can most accurately be seen.
