I was unable to finish this book due to racist undertones and descriptions. The author was called out for these, and has been called out previously for some content in her other books. I’m not sure how or if she responded to the latest criticisms, but her previous responses didn’t sit right with me and I can’t imagine there’s a good reason for the descriptions in this book.
