Just as I predicted... I ADORED this book. It was everything I wanted. This story is the perfect mix of fantasy, romance, suspense, mystery, and darkness. Amanda Foody's writing is fantastic and I definitely want to pick up more books by her in the future. She had me loving the characters with in the first 30 pages... and it gave me the "found family" vibes that I absolutely adore. On top of that, the setting was so intriguing and unique. Her descriptions were beautiful but quick, and very effective which made this book feel so atmospheric and immersive. I didn't want this book to end, but also didn't want to stop reading it. Highly recommend!
