I thought that This is Halloween would be a perfect read for the Halloween season. While it is a collection of short horror stories, not all of them were really seasonal. Some of the stories were pretty good, and then others just didn’t vibe with me. I wasn’t particularly scared by any of the stories. There were a few recurring topics that kind of made me lose interest after awhile. What could’ve been a fun and quick read, turned into a slow, boring read unfortunately. Overall, it’s an okay read for fall vibes if you’re looking for a somewhat seasonal collection of short stories.
