The New Husband by D.J. Palmer

5.0

Thanks to St. Martin's Press for the ARC and chance to provide an honest review.

Nina's first husband disappeared and is presumed to be dead. She's never quite gotten over the betrayal. Simon Fitcher seems to be the perfect replacement her family needs as she tries to put her life back together. Is Simon too good to be true and has Nina jumped into this new relationship too quickly?

I absolutely loved this one. D.J. Palmer has a knack for sucking you in from the first page and he does not disappoint with this one. What I loved was that he wrote such dynamic characters, that I found myself wondering who I truly sympathized with. I experienced a roller coaster of emotions. By the time, the truth was revealed, I was so invested I could not out it down. I love a great domestic thriller and this one is definitely one of my favorites this year. This is one of those books that you have to talk about with someone. If you love a well developed storyline, different point of views, multi-faceted characters, suspense filled pages and jaw dropping moments, then I highly recommend this one.
