Ten Rules for Faking It by Sophie Sullivan

5.0

Your thirties are supposed to be good, right? Imagine you show up to work- a mess covered in coffee & your makeup all messy, having just caught your boyfriend cheating, and all you want to do is finish your day at work so you can spend the rest of your wretched birthday at home alone. But your best friend-who just happens to be the Deejay at where you both work- accidentally lets the whole city hear your rant about how terrible your love life is. And now your love life is the talk of the town- but your boss decides to make this a radio show bachelorette, even though you only have eyes for him.

Think Hallmark movie in book form. I loved this novel so much. Everly- the main character was such a relatable person with her anxiety. Her “What if” scenarios are super similar to mine-my husband is constantly on me about them, her worries about a relationship throughout the novel, even some of her anxiety tics are similar to mine- kinda creepy
