3.5 stars!

I definitely think this book was an improvement over the first one in a lot of ways. The characters feel more fleshed out, the plot was more tightly paced and, on a whole, the book felt more cohesive. That being said, some of the plot points were a little strange, even for me. Also, nothing really surprised me - I saw a lot of the twists before they came and that’s not always fun. Nevertheless, I enjoyed listening to this and I’m open to trying more of this author’s books in the future!
