I'll admit, I totally expected this book to be a fantasy—silly me for getting swept up by the reviews and the cover! I also didn’t expect it to be a reverse harem novel, so I was pleasantly surprised when that element came into play. Cecelia, at 19, initially had me hesitating, because she just graduated high school and had broken up with a fiancé, but I quickly reminded myself not to judge and to continue. Sean and Dominic are in their mid-20s, and knowing that they’ll age well throughout the trilogy definitely kept me hooked. What’s really keeping me invested, though, is the mystery surrounding Cecelia’s dad and his company. I have a few theories I’m eager to see play out in the upcoming books!
