A mixture of Beauty and the Beast and Greek mythology? Hell yeah. This was an extremely cute book and honestly very entertaining. The first like 50 pages felt like just a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, but that’s understandable. Once I got past those 50 pages though, the book was a breeze. A very quick read. I could read 50 pages in under 30 minutes, and I’m a pretty slow reader. This book definitely feels like it’s for younger readers, but I think any fan of Beauty and the Beast or Jennifer Donnelly would love it (I am both). There’s a bunch of great messages and themes in this book, and I enjoyed it. Another book proving just how amazing of an author Jennifer Donnelly is!
