The Book of Denial by Ricardo Chavez Castaeda

dark emotional fast-paced

5.0

An incredible, heart wrenching book.

This is a story about infanticide, about how a child learns the long history of how adults murder children. Captured in the style of a picture book, with typography, illustrations, and images married with the text it perfectly marries form and content.

I cried, and it wasn’t a cathartic cry, instead the tears were pulled out of me from somewhere under my jaw.
