A King to be Loved by Brea Alepoú
4.5
Huh. Not the quickly wrapped up ending I was expecting at all. Also, I think the author didn’t keep in mind how Titos would change after becoming a god. He’d become an immortal just like Mazki, it was great how he (Mazki) was the one to fix it all. But to have Titos fall asleep, like he’s still human? I was shocked by Ginger, then realized Theo worked under her long enough to replace her I guess. It just doesn’t add up no matter how you look at it. I did love meeting all of Titos’s guys in each book & do think each character was well fleshed out & John Solo did a fabulous job narrating. But it was too quickly wrapped up & sometimes it works however I think only certain authors do it well & IMHO this was way to fast & to not have an epilogue? Yeah, that is just sloppy writing (yes, this is my opinion & nobody has to agree) Lastly, my rating for this series as a whole is 3.75. Listened via Hoopla
