At first I was like, “Is the romance in the room with us?” The historical aspect was heavy in this one and sometimes made  my eyes glaze over. I wanted less politics and more pounding on the mattress. However, the slow burn attraction between the independent beauty and handsome hog farmer grew on me and won me over. He’s a good man, Loreli. He’s a good man.
