This is actually quite a beautiful story with a small cast of characters that really makes the book feel very intimate. It is slow-paced and you grow to love Elin as she struggles and discovers herself. This is not a 5 star read though because some things didn’t translate well and really felt klunky. And the story was going so well until it neared the end. A reveal was plenty obvious and that ending really underwhelmed.
