Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? And Other Conversations about Race by Beverly Daniel Tatum

I learned so much from this book! I'd never read anything about race from a psychological perspective, and as someone who's dabbled in psychology and cares a lot about mental health, I found this to be a game-changer. I was especially impressed by how much ground Tatum covered--talking about experiences of people from all different racial and socioeconomic backgrounds--and seamlessly wove them together to show their interconnectedness. Will definitely be thinking about this a lot going forward.
