If the final battle wasn’t such an emotional rollercoaster this would probably be ranked lower but when I’m bawling my eyes out for a solid hour reading this it’s hard to forget that. The pacing is all over the place and I seriously dgaf about Snape and all his “suffering” you’re trying to tell me in the 7 years he taught Harry at school he never was able to feel ANY compassion for him and only played his part in the order because of Lily? He never stopped and thought hmmm maybe Lily would want me to be a kinder person and not a total freak all the time??? But that’s just me. And what’s the deal with him being so awful to Neville my poor sweet Neville he was stuck in a loop of mourning the loss of his parents and at the same time never living up to them in his grandmothers eyes just to come to school and be so terrified of Snape that he becomes his boggart??? I don’t forget that shit fuck Snape glad he’s dead tbh. And Harry you’re a stupid fucker for memorialising him in your son’s name but you are extremely traumatised so I forgive you. Also is it just me or is Voldemort just not scary in this idk he’s not even menacing mostly just a nuisance and a whiny bitch. If only we lived in a world where we got to see the next generation living a relaxing life and getting an actual education at hogwarts without the threat of death and destruction but instead we got the cursed child 🤷🏻♀️
