Hayao Miyazaki by Peter Docter, Jessica Niebel, Hayao Miyazaki, Toshio Suzuki, Daniel Kothenschulte

informative inspiring lighthearted medium-paced

Let's be honest we all purchased this book for its fantastic storyboard and production art. Unfortunately, most of the art is preceded by repetitive, contradictory, and overly verbose essays that could have been simplified. The latter half of this book however is well worth the slogging for its gorgeous art spreads. A great gift for a fan to display and casually peruse.
