This book is a horror queer love letter to representation and every LBGTQ character that has ever been buried, baited, or invalidated by media. As a bisexual person, who struggled to accept their bi identity until while watching my favorite show the X-Files I knew I couldn't deny my queerness. Mulder and Scully were giving me bi panic everyday. So hearing Misha write his own genuinely queer characters as a beautiful lesbian reference to the x files. Chuck Tingle's references and homages to buried queer characters and his incredible writing brought this book to life. (Tara being my favorite) For Misha to come full circle, from watching his favorite show's finale at his birthday party (only to be queer baited), for the book to conclude with Misha at his own watch party for his own show's season finale where he gets to celebrate the queer love of his characters. Beautiful, gorey, and so much fun!!
