Every damn star. This novel (or maybe, novella, since it's just over a 100 pages long) was an utterly delightful surprise.
I started it before going to bed and managed to finish it off in one setting, sleep be damned. It was so addicting, so cute, so heartfelt.
It also had a lot of the tropes I absolutely love, especially in the omegaverse genre: (kind of) arranged marriage, (kind of) rivals to lovers, alpha/omega pairing, surprise heat (!!!), marking, uber possessive alpha vibes, pining (the "I've loved you for 13 years" type) (!!!), plus a whole lot of steam mixed in with a ton of swoonworthy romance. It was fabulous.
I loved both MCs to bits: Warren was the ultimate (surprise) omega grump, prickly and badass and vulnerable at the same time, Roman was so damn swoony, sweet and protective. My only complaint is that I would have LOVED a few (or a lot) more pages of them interacting *sighs mournfully*, but well, I can always re-read right?
100% recommended to all fans of the genre.
