GIVING ALL THE STARS TO THIS BOOK!!!! I've never not been this reluctant to finish a book for the reason that I loved it too much. It was 824 pages but it's not enough...it's never enough!!!! I wouldn't even know where to start with a review but I'm just gonna start somewhere and add things I'll remember haha.

Let's talk about the bae that is Cinder and can I just say I love how I never even for one second throughout any of the books started disliking Cinder (which I can't say for a lot of other books tbh) and I just kept loving her more and more and TRUE QUEEN OF THE MOON YAY IM SO PROUD! Idk man I loved her whole arc and how we never got a moment where she SUDDENLY was stronger than everyone else or smt bc we saw her train and try to access her abilities but she still struggled and I LOVED THAT SO MUCH cause it made it all so much more realistic! Ugh Cinder is fave just absolute gem!

(also I noticed that we are just making all our characters orphans now? That's a thing now ofc haha except Jacins parents who were just briefly mentioned and idk about Thorne tho)

KAI! Kai my sweet :) YOU JUST GAVE ZERO FUCKS IN THIS BOOK AND I FELL MORE IN LOVE WITH YOU THAN I THOUGHT WAS POSSIBLE and wow ur just too precious I can't even. HIM AND THORNE ND HIM AND CRESS AND 'HIS FRIENDS' I JUST *gets emotional*

Scarlet :) Oh you are just so feisty and HER AND WINTER hey crazy ugh just yes yes and IM SO SORRY YOU HAD TO SUFFER SO MUCH :( Her reunion with Wolf just fuck MEEE UPPPPP. She was just so badass in this book and yess...

Wolf....SO MOPEY MOPE IS NOT MOPEY ANYMORE since we got Scarlet back which lasted for exactly 0.000002 seconds and they got separated again and we made him an orphan and into the worst monster and POOR WOLF :( Him and Cinders relationship just hit me hard man ... EVEN THO HE DID MORE HARM MOST OF THE TIME THAN GOOD but its' okay :) Honestly wish we had gotten like a less brushed over version of him after the 'make over' bc that wasn't addressed as well as I would have liked YES YOU COULD HAVE MADE THIS BOOK 1000 PAGES AND IT STILL WOULDN TBE LONG ENOUGH. Sorry about your mom dying man that broke my heart :(

Jacin :") IM A SLUT FOR GUARD AND PRINCESS LOVE STORIES thats me and I felt so bad for him when the queen forced him to kill Winter but LEVIE SWEETIE BABE CMON YOU REALLY THINK HE GON KILL THE GIRL HE LOVES like cmon don't be this naive but yes he totes deserved the Thorne punch and I loved his scenes with Cinder :)

Winter ahhhhhooooooooooooooooo :) Our little troubled crazy princess...bless Winter for adopting Scarlet and saving Cress and WHEN SHE GRABBED THE CANDY FROM LEVI THO IM LIKE DUUUDEEE DONT ACCEPT CANDY FROM STRANGER WHY ARE YOU SO NAIVE (but then again it's candy so I get it) I felt really bad for her in the end when she couldn't take it anymore :( It was horrible to read about the disgusting men all lusting after her bc she was so beautiful like gross she's a child gtfo so me and Jacin have that in common :)

Cressssssssss my darling little cressssss :D I just loved her whole development in this book while still staying her adorable self and WHEN WE LEFT CRESS BEHIND AT THE PALACE I WAS LIKE NOOOOOOOOO and then she decided to stay in the palace to save Winter and Scarlet *starts crying* BE HEROIC *more crying* and her being her hacking genius self just GOOD SHIT!

THORNE *heart eyes* I think we can all guess my fave character (altho Kai and Cinder areeeee close behinnnnddd) LIKE CAPTAIN CARSWELL THORNE IS JUST SUCH A LOSER I can't even with him. When he thinks he isn't good enough for Cress and then tells her to Be heroic and HE CONTINUES TO DO HEROIC SHIT THE WHOLE BOOK and his heart to heart with Kai and OHMYGOD HIM GETTING HIS EYESIGHT BACK I just loved everything about his arc this book :') HE GOT THE RAMPION BACK AND HIS CREW AND CRESS AND HIS BROMANCE WITH CINDER IS ABSOLUTE FAVE and I could talk about Thorne all day tbh if no one ever stops me....

IKOOOOOOOO just she was also too precious this book. Getting all banged up and giving also zero fucks and her and Cinder bless Ikooooo :))))))

I had to put down my book SO MANY TIMES like when he got his eyesight back I couldn't handle it tbh I'm like shit shit shit he's gonna see Cress and give her a look or pure amazement and I'll die and this is what happened. THE CLOSET/ATRIUM SCENE gave me so much life I didn't even know I needed that exact scene in my life before it happened and he's like fuck it you don't wanna talk LETS HAVE THE HOTTEST MAKE OUT SESSION EVER and then SHE LOOKED LIKE YOU and I THINK I"M IN LOVE WITH YOU and he gets taken and OF COURSE HE DOES and the Be heroic is just my fave line ever bc they are both so just ugh so very all the just so very much *starts crying thinking about them together* also side note I LOVE HOW SHE CALLS HIM CAPTAIN LIKE JUST YES cutiesss.....and
I cannot believe Marissa made me read with my own two eyes how Thorne stabbed her like I put down my book and I'm like how DARE YOU Thorne will never get oveeeerrrrr thisssss and its from Cinders pov and she wrote smt like "She didn't know who looked more horrified, Cress or Thorne." MEEEEEE I LOOKED MORE HORRIFIED i couldnt fucking believe this and Thorne sobbing I'm sorry I'm so sorry hahahahaha who needs a heart right? (when he was in the throne room I'm like well this won't end well yikes). THEN WE HAVE THE LAST SCENE and his speech about how he wants to be good enough for her okay I almost cried I just couldn't handle that at all, I closed the book and my eyes and just whispered.....I'm okay, we're okay, they're okay, it's okay, I'm very okay rn...This is literally what OTPs are made of.

Cinder and Kai like NOT ENOUGH NEVER ENOUGH CINDEr AND KAI but them together was just absolute fabulousnesssssssss i appprooveeeeeeeee and the end when he pulled out the fucking foot I actually went like you r such a loser Kaito but ugh I loved it and I'm so happyyyyyy they all got their happy endinnnggg butttt so sad cause it's over :(

FOR 1500 pages I've been screaming for the squad to get all together and IN THE END THE SCENE WITH THE CAKE WAS ALL I NEEDED and I'm like that moment I'm holding on to it forever :)

SPEAKING OF GOOD MOMENTs!!!! When they were killing off the people in the sector unless they told them where Cinder was and she had to watch and Thorne and Wolf and Scarlet hugged her to comfort her and keep her from going like that scene is just *clutches heart* *starts crying again* SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD

I don't think I've ever written THIS long of a review of any book haha but this just tells you how much I loved this finale it had everything I needed and didn't know I needed and I'm just very happy right now :)
