I have mixed feelings about this book because although I enjoyed the overall story and the main characters there were also a lot of parts that were confusing to me. I'm still new to fantasy and books about witches in particular so there were certain parts where I couldn't tell if the author didn't explain something fully or if I somehow missed her providing more context. The ending itself felt like it could have been fleshed out a bit more but I still enjoyed it. Overall this book was a wild ride and something always felt like it was about to happen and I think that's what made it confusing sometimes because there was so much happening that you had to try and remember it all at once. I think I'll like it a lot more as reread.
