The Midnight Library by Matt Haig

5.0

If my heart wasn’t made of steel right now I would’ve cried all the way through this book. That being said, I went on an emotional rollercoaster with this book. I related so deeply to our main girl that it hurt my heart. This is a story of being at your end wits and trying to find a way to live again. I loved the science fiction aspect of this book and I’m trash for the library setting. You’ll want to cry and smile throughout The Midnight Library, you’ll be rooting for Nora to find her ‘happy ending’.

This book really put into perspective that there’s no perfect life, that all stories have happy and sad moments but that doesn’t amount to whether it’s a good or bad life. I love how Matt Haig made me think and feel throughout this.
