The Tombs of Atuan by Ursula K. Le Guin
4.0
3.75 Le Guin’s afterword provides so much thought and depth that a reader may miss. The first half of the story is solitary and bleak showcasing Tenar’s situation. The second half gets a lot more intense and adventurous. Tenar and Ged are opposites of the same coin in so many ways and represents how true power and freedom intertwine.
