Cheech Is Not My Real Name: ...But Don't Call Me Chong by Cheech Marin

5.0

I have always loved watching and listening to Cheech and Chong bits, the movies, and Cheech's solo work, so this book called out to me. And this was such a fun read, and so quick. I slept, because nighttime, but otherwise I'd have had it done in a day. He provides a really nice overview of his life and how things came to be. I imagine some people would want a little more detail on his split from Chong, and towards the end there were some spots where I thought it would have been neat to get a little more. But the pacing works really well, so even wanting a little more I think it would have made it drag a little to actually get more. The language and tone is exactly what I expected. He is funny, clever, and quick. This was a fantastic read.
