Signed, sealed and delivered under the wardrobe, the first book in the Letters of Enchantment series was nothing short of divine

I can see why this is getting a lot of love, from start to finish I was completely absorbed by this story and setting. The wartime era was executed well and it had a very true to life feel to it but with fantastical elements entwined

Watching this relationship magically develop gave a glimpse of hope during a dark and uncertain time. The chemistry was well and truly there between them and it was interesting to see it from both perspectives, it always felt natural and never over the top

Although it wasn’t the main focus of the story, a little more world building of the fantastical elements would’ve been of benefit as the premise was interesting. Part way through it also felt like Iris, the MC, got a little too distracted from the real reason why she was there

There were some great side characters and it was well written, it was like a tale being told from a grandparent that I think, regardless of your preferred genre, you will find some joy here.
