The cover drew me in to reading this, but looks can be deceiving. I'm not sure how this was a nominee in the Best Horror this year when nothing happened that made me have to stop listening or even a simple jump scare. 

So many words for a book where NOTHING HAPPENS.

I'm so disappointed.
