A really interesting read about a topic that many need to educate themselves about.
The book is made up of interviews of trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming kids and young adults. It's was great to hear the voices of these young people and how they are navigating a world that can be horrid towards them.
My one and only criticism is that some of the interviews and experiences felt quite samey BUT I can see how with needing parental permission you are only really going to get the perspective of those with supportive families. Do not get me wrong I am so glad all of these young people have the support of their families but I'm obviously aware this will not be the truth for many of the unheard voices.
