Schwab does it again. How she so effortlessly—even though I know it wasn’t effortless because no magic isn’t—brought us back to this world is astonishing. The new characters are complex and intriguing, and the returning ones don’t dull in the slightest.
The plot, themes, and setting are all incredible. Each character having their own voice, their own arc, their own everything. Emotions are tangible, the action tense, and the purpose clear.
She made me tear up at one point, and laugh at so many others.
