Regretting You by Colleen Hoover

3.0

I enjoyed the twists in this book, as it painted a picture not so different from my own life story. I found the generation switching in the first few chapters a little confusing but eventually settled into the story as it focused more on the present day.
SpoilerClara's perspective was a tad frustrating as she jumped her way from one ill-informed conclusion to the next, but I suppose that isn't an incorrect depiction of a teenager, albeit frustrating to read. I felt like the ultimate love story was revealed early on with a bit too much foreshadowing, which is not CoHo's usual style.

In general I really liked it this book and it has been playing around in my head for the last couple of days.

SpoilerSo disappointed that Morgan didn't read the bloody letters though!
