Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

5.0

Everyone says this is her best work, and 2 books into the Austen deep dive, I'd be surprised if I were to disagree with that conclusion. The two lead characters, Elizabeth and Darcy, play off each other in a sort of fencing match, but I don't ever view them as dislikable in spite of their faults. It's a tale of growth and evolution, and of not letting one's opinions (of people or of situations) remain permanently fixed. The writing is very engaging as well. Superb.
