Felt like a finale. 

And what a finale it was. This was one of the better endings of this overarching series within a series. I really enjoyed the glimpses of so many beloved characters we’ve gotten to know over these books. I’ve been reading the Guild Codex in order for a while now (started with just Tori’s books where I met Zak). I’ve really enjoyed how different each companion series is. 

Anyway. Not 100 certain this is the end of this companion series, but it felt like it. I hope, like other characters from other series, we get glimpses of where Zak and Saber are. 

As for this book, I just thought it was such a great ride. Action packed but still full of substance and development. And the relationship and choices of Saber and Rikr were just so perfectly done and on character while still allowing for growth. 

Highly recommend this series and the entire greater series. Look up the author’s web site though to read in order. It’s more fun that way imo.
