I hate when I don’t share the same enthusiasm as a lot of my Friends and people I follow in Good Reads. HOWEVER, I did not think this book was amazing. I liked it. I’m glad I read it. I won’t read future books. For me, here’s the deal: I didn’t love the main female character. I liked her spunk and cunning, but I found her juvenile and predictable much of the time. Xaden was hot AF, so no argument there. I really just wasn’t engrossed in this book the way I was with A Court of Thorn and Roses, a book I would consider to be in the same “class”. The plot also didn’t hit me as deeply. Eek
