The Mona Lisa Vanishes: A Legendary Painter, a Shocking Heist, and the Birth of a Global Celebrity by Nicholas Day

funny informative medium-paced

5.0

This is some of the most approachable and enjoyable nonfiction I've come across. Written for an audience of approximately 5th-9th grades, it makes what could be dry, boring history so much fun. The narration is witty and funny (I chuckled so many times while reading it that my 10-year-old wants to read it next).

I hope to find more nonfiction written this way.
