I really wanted to like this one - I have been wanting to get back into urban fantasy and thought this would be a good start for me - but the beginning was so hectic and not at all what I wanted or was expecting. I was really disappointed with the lack of easing into the story as there were SO MANY infodumps right at the beginning that it made my head swim. I couldn't even get into the story or know who the characters were because of how much information we were bombarded with about the actual setting including things I wanted to experience for myself rather than be immediately told about. I am just disappointed in general with this one.
