I was very excited to pick up this novella/short story, in which happening in the Skyward series, especially during Starsight and what wen on back on Detritus whilst Spena had gone undercover. Seeing how the other characters have had to figure some of these other issues out without having much information at hand. Being able to see how these characters seemed to have developed from when we first introduced to them in Skyward. I enjoyed reading about these characters, and finding something more about them, especially as you follow Spensa as a perspective in the main two previous books. Therefore being able to see what was also going on at Detritus made it very intriguing read which has also made me want to continue the series.
