Wounded Kiss by Willow Winters

4.0

In short... I loved it!

After I read the synopsis of the book, I was intrigued about this "offering". Well, I am happy to report that this book did not disappoint and kept my attention from the first page.

Grace and Lizzie are two best friends who were dealt a horrible hand in life. Both having survived the foster system, they forged a friendship that made them inseparable. Their few years of bliss being roommates and free of their childhood oppressors are rocked when they suddenly find themselves "chosen" due to a long-standing treaty with the werewolves that protect their town from predators such as vampires and witches. Unable to refuse, the two are whisked away from everything familiar and forced to live with the pack as mates forever.

There is alot of sensual energy and while the pack may be werewolves, they are very patient, calm and understanding to the women. Nevertheless, the women are in shock and still adjusting to the men who call them their "mates".

I will definitely read Book Two as I found this story to be very well written and made me want to know the fates of Grace and Lizzie as well as know more about the mysterious wolves, Lev, Dom, Caleb, and their Alpha, Devin.

Happy reading!
