Something More by Jackie Khalilieh

5.0

This was a beautiful and intimate portrait of a Palestinian autistic girl learning to navigate her diagnosis, home life and high school. I loved delving deep into Jessie's mind and watching her grow and change into the person she was supposed to be. There is a love triangle - not my favorite - but to me, it was always clear who would end up with her and I enjoyed the journey of her figuring it out. I also loved the little tidbits of Palestinian culture and life and am looking forward to reading more.

Overall, a beautiful YA love story.
