I had a really hard time sticking with this book (but I did manage to make through to the end). It didn't flow like the previous in the series for me. Instead it felt boring and like the same issues were played over and over again without finding solutions to them. By the time we do get solutions, at the very end, they seemed so obvious and easy...why did it take us so long to get here, then? I wasn't a fan of the way Yash's anxiety and panic attacks were handled. And ultimately, I just didn't really believe the love story. This was technically a second chance trope, but both times are described as instalove (neither are tropes I usually enjoy) which didn't really make sense to me. And there wasn't a deeper dive into WHY this couple should be together other than their intense pull to one another.
