I wish I could hand this book to every vegan on earth. It has the perfect mix of simple, throw them together recipes and complex, nuanced recipes. Everything is deeply authentic, often sourced from the author's childhood. I also appreciated the history at the beginning that talks about how vegan food has existed in China for centuries. It's a beautiful and inspiring cookbook. I'm not vegan, but I might add this to my shelf.
