This book was so GOOD!
This was such an interesting take on demons, incubi, and succubi and how they feed/eat.
Eli and Rhory develop a very co-dependent relationship over the span of 15 ish years, and while initially this was a voluntarily parasitic relationship it mutates into a mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship the longer they know each other.
The humor in this book and between these two is top notch. Rhory gives absolutely zero f*cks and Eli has nearly limitless patience and appreciation for Rhory’s antics.
This might be a slooooooow burn, however that doesn’t mean there is no sexual tension. I usually don’t go for these types of books but man was this hot. I guess that’s to be expected with a literal sex demon.
The ending snuck up on me, I was so surprised because I didn’t know how they were going to get out of their deal. Did they technically get out of it? The ending is a trip!
I will definitely be reading the first book, Waves!
