I think I needed to get used to how bizarre this is! I liked the 1st book, but this 2nd one was so much better though no less bizarre than the 1st one. Looking forward to the last book in this trilogy: Imago.

That being said, I have loved some light science fiction and speculative fiction, but this type of heavy science fiction is out of my normal reading, and I'm glad that I tried it. I'll definitely like to try some more as I feel that it might be an acquired reading taste after one gets used to the strangeness of it.
