This was a great small brother’s best friend romance. Poppy had been in love with Jax for ever. Her family knew and Jax knew. Poppy was a romantic who wanted a soulmate. She wanted an all encompassing love like her parents and some of her siblings have. But, Jax hasn’t had the best example of love. His mother was constantly searching for a man to buy her flowers and support her. So Jax has decided to have one night stand. No woman more than once, no woman in his house and no kissing. Poor Poppy after another bad date heads to Jax’s house to find out why not her? Now they are both inebriated in the middle of an ice storm, so they both share a little more than they want to. But, Poppy decides to take matters into her own hands and she climbs into Jax’s bed when he is sleeping. Now of course he can’t resist so they have a magical night together and the next day he plans a long trip away to Spain. During his absence Poppy discovers that she is pregnant how will this commitment phobic man handle this news. How will her over protective siblings deal with this. Great story with wonderful characters a must read.
