The Grace Year by Kim Liggett

5.0

I am not typically a YA fan, so I went into this book with lowered expectations. Wow, was I surprised! This is one of my favorite books of the year. I always have a soft spot for stories where women fiercely support other women, and Tierney is exactly that. Her patience to continue extending grace over and over and hope for better was beautiful.

From her dreams: “There’s no bickering or murderous glares, everyone has come together in peace. In unity. We are sisters, daughters, mothers, grandmothers, standing together for a common need, greater than ourselves.”
