Really beautiful book with a decent cast of characters. I especially loved how both of the protagonists were very flawed and in some places quite morally grey with their actions, and we get to see their impact of the actions on others; but due to the dual narration, we also got to see the depth of their motivations, as well as the reaction to the consequences, which really helped to shape that idea of flawed people.
Unfortunately the final stretch of the book didn't really work for me. It felt like the author wanted to wrap things up, so took a very drastic (and for me, left-field) action to try and speed up the resolution and bring the characters to the conclusion she had in mind.
