Okay I liked this one!! I have tried two other Emily Henry books and I found them to be fine but mostly full of tropes that drive me up the wall. But this one felt less like reading a collection of tropes and more like reading a truly romantic story. The characterization was good, I especially liked Daphne (men are fine I guess). I enjoyed the librarian angle and I would love to join her readathon, the conflicts felt mostly natural and I never felt overly irritated when the conflicts did happen. I had a solid time reading this and definitely think the audiobook narration further elevated it!
