“Grace costs you nothing.”

I originally preordered this book and then stupidly let it sit on my shelf for FIVE MONTHS. I might never forgive myself for that.

This was easily one of my favorite romcoms to date (please don’t ask me what my others are, because it is likely a long list I’m not prepared to figure out).

What I thought might be Little Mermaid themed just based on the title instead turned out to be a story about acceptance – family, lifestyle, personality, etc. I loved Daniel and Alexis both individually as well as together. I hated most of Alexis’ friends (except for her onw work friend… I’m now hoping her book will be next!). And Daniel’s town sounds wonderful – all of the people, how they come together… GAH! I cannot get enough of this one.

This was one of those books I hated to see end. I loved every moment of it and I can’t wait to reread it one day. I cannot recommend this book enough.
