I really enjoyed this! The magic was fun and mostly easy to understand. To spice was good and sprinkled well throughout. There was a real plot and stakes I really liked. There was no third act miscommunication in a traditional way which was a relief. I loved the hyper confident but still silly MMC. I was a little confused by the world at some points. I also wanted some sweeter moments between the characters so I wouldn’t have minded if it was a little longer. Overall a super solid entertaining read!
