This was good, but Pulitzer good? That’s surprising to me. I read it because the sorta-sequel is getting a ton of buzz, but I don’t think I’ll ever pick it up. Caveat: I’m not really a short story person (except in the pure humor genre, a la Simon Rich), so an experimental novel that might actually be a collection of short stories isn’t really my thing in the first place.
